Samsung’s new Seo measurement utility, which is supposed to replace the old Samsung MMS app, is launching in India on Wednesday.
Samsung’s product page says Seo is designed to help users get more accurate and timely phone calls, track the speed of mobile data usage, measure the health of their smartphone users and monitor battery life.
It also lets users track their health, weight, body fat and diabetes, among other things.
Samsung says the Seo app has “a variety of features to help you track your health, including tracking your daily steps, calorie burn, sleep, and other health-related metrics.”
The Seo product page does not give any specifics on the apps capabilities.
Samsung hasn’t said how many people will be able to download Seo’s app or when it will be available in the market.
Samsung is offering a free trial of Seo for three months.
The Seotime app, which will be launched in the country, has a number of features too.
It lets users see how long their phone’s battery will last, and track how long it takes to get the next message.
It can also track when the device has started recording data.
Users can also set reminders, schedule calls and send SMS to family and friends, among others.
Users are also able to get updates and make the device more productive.
Samsung isn’t selling Seotimes, but Samsung Mobile India has a free app called SeotIME.
Samsung said it plans to offer an update to the app in the next few days.
